A neighbor north of the project complained that solar panels at the senior center buzz audibly and worried the new canopy would do the same.

Opposed the project, saying the corner is heavily used by children and cyclists, buses are a bad fit near a residential neighborhood, and the CEQA exemption is inappropriate; suggested industrial sites instead.

Spoke in support overall but asked whether solar panels directly charge bus batteries or feed the grid, and whether waiting patrons would be sheltered from rain and wind.

Opposed the plan on ridership and funding grounds — ridership has fallen from 378,000 to 190,000 — and questioned the eight bays, tree removals, and the $7 million grant deadline of June 30, 2027.
